Chabad Jewish Community Center of Aspen and UJA Aspen Valley, sponsors a program that offers the opportunity to injured Israeli veterans to ski and snowboard in Aspen for a week. As guests of the Aspen Jewish community, these young men experience challenges on the mountain that take them out of their reality of hospitals and rehab, and gives them a renewed sense of hope for the future. The interaction between the soldiers and caring members of the Aspen community is truly rewarding. It is a privilege to provide these brave war heroes with a welcoming week of respect and gratitude, kosher meals and local camaraderie.

Golshim L’Chaim, Ski To Live exists solely through donations. We would not be able to provide this life changing experience for these deserving soldiers without the generous monetary support of individuals.

A film, “Beyond the Boundaries” is a full length independent documentary capturing the intensity of the Golshim L’Chaim, Ski To Live experience. The film will premiere at a fundraising event, on July 25, 2011, at the Isis Theatre, Aspen CO. Please check this site and watch for local promotions for more details.
